Obviously the big news this week is yesterday's announcement at the Apple World Wide Developers Conference of the company's latest device, the iPhone 4. We had several CNET editors at the keynote speech live-blogging and snapping photos as well many editors in-house writing articles about various aspects of all that was announced at the event. For a quick round up of all that was announced at the keynote speech, check here.
Along with the new hardware, Steve Jobs unveiled new iPhone apps and several of the features of the new iPhone OS (now called "iOS 4"). To get all the latest stories and slideshows about the iPhone 4, click here.
Also this week, we have a few featured software releases you should know about. Butler received an update, giving the popular utility even better ways to launch apps, search the Web, and more, all by using hot keys. We have the latest update to VirtualBox, the free virtualization software that lets you run just about an operating system in a window on your Mac. Our game this week is Mah Jong Solitaire 2, a 3D tile-matching game with several themed tile sets, varying difficulty settings, and a huge number of backgrounds.
Don't forget to check out our iPhone apps of the week!
