E3 news; Sony's 3D push; Samsung's slim sound bar

E3, the big video-game-centered conference going on in LA this week, has plenty of implications from a home theater perspective. The biggest story lines include 3D gaming, which Sony demonstrated with its PS3 and Nintendo got in the game with its 3DS system. Also, Microsoft showed its new motion-control system for the Xbox 360--but it still doesn't have Blu-ray.

Sony 3D TVs throw in free 'Meatballs'
Sony announced three series of 3D-compatible TVs at CES in January, and on Wednesday, the company filled in the remaining details with pricing, availability, and a list of included 3D material.
