Which Canon compact?
With street prices ranging from about $150 to $400 for Canon ultracompacts, there's not a lot of room for price differentiation, unless you're really pinching pennies. One big feature for a lot of people is slowly disappearing from the Digital Elphs: an optical viewfinder. There's lots to like about Olympus' Micro Four Thirds cameras--the E-P1, E-P2 and E-PL1--but their seriously slow autofocus performance, most notably with nonprime lenses, can be a significant drawback for many casual users who rely on AF. HELP! How do i get video off my HD camera? (tapes)

I bought a Sony Handycam HDV over a year ago and havent ever been able to get the footage from these minidv (annoying tapes) only my computer :mad: I tried going to a Sony store and they had no clue, told me to get an i-link cable. I got one off the internet and it doesn't fit in any of the ports :confused:  Read more
