What's new
Nikon P7000: Completely different from its predecessor
Not only does Nikon lack a competitor for the popular Canon PowerShot S90 (and its presumably potentially-as-popular replacement, the S95) but also its G11/LX5 competitor the P6000 has been languishing, unloved for 2 years. Posted by Pivott
I need a camcorder to video small meetings with 30-to-40 people. The meetings last 2-to-4 hours max.

The audience participates in the meeting Q&A, and it is important their comments at least be intelligible.

As far as moving the camera toward the audience member speaking, it will rarely happen, and the unit will typically face the main speaker.

We don't want or need an external mic if we can get reasonable, understandable audio. Just about any camcorder I have seen will suit our needs for video which will be for Web context.  Read more
