Dear Canberra Centre Customers,
The ACT Government has announced that the Territory will enter a hard lockdown from 5:00pm Thursday 12 August for a period of at least seven days.
Canberra Centre will remain open and trading throughout this lockdown, serving the essential needs of those that choose to visit us.
This lockdown will result in a few changes at Canberra Centre, with only essential goods and services permitted to trade during this time, including: Supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries, fruit and vegetable stores and fishmongers
Hospitality venues such as cafes and restaurants for delivery and takeaway only
Bottle shops
Banks or financial institutions
Post offices
Newsagents
Pharmacies
Please note that our café and restaurant retailers are permitted to remain open, offering takeaway and home delivery services only.
While many of our food court retailers may choose to remain open for takeaway and delivery services, we note that our food court seating will temporarily close. Our play areas will also temporarily close.
We ask that you please remember to check in should you visit our Centre, and at each retailer, by using the Check In CBR app. Signage has been posted throughout the Centre for your convenience.

Mandatory face masks
If you choose to visit us during this time, please remember that you must wear a face mask at all times when visiting our Centre, unless:
A person is 12 years of age or younger
Medical reasons prohibit someone from doing so
You are eating or dining
You are communicating with another person who is hard of hearing
It is not practical to do so
It is an emergency.
To help keep our entire community safe, please be sure to bring a face mask with you the next time you visit Canberra Centre.
